WILFRID SQUIRRELMAN HUTCHINSON ADZED OAK SIDEBOARD

A Wilf Hutchinson Oak Sideboard, having a short raised back carved with a band of running cable above an adzed top below a selection of drawers with  two short and three graduated drawers all with iron loop handles, flanked by a six-panel door to either side, with iron latch, on short octagonal legs, carved in relief with a squirrel

The whole piece fully adzed to all visible areas in line with early Mouseman craftsmanship

Wilf trained at Robert Thompsons from 1951 setting up his own business in the late 1950’s 

Provenance: has original invoice dated December 1966
