ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON EARLY ADZED OAK PANEL

A rare early panel from the Robert Thompson Workshops Circa 1930.

Originally used in a shipping companies board room the panel has a castellated freeze above 3 carved panels with scrolled heart designs.

Below typical peg and chamfered panel construction the right side having an early carved mouse in recess.

All visible areas fully adzed in line with early craftsmanship

Size 143.5 cm wide 6 cm thick and 220 cm tall
